I am a single operator, so hiring AWJ means you'll get me to be your DJ! I will work with you throughout the planning process; we will talk through your vision, music preferences, everything. Then I will be there to turn your vision into a reality!

For lots of reasons! First of all, the person who shows up to DJ your wedding won't be left to chance. You're guaranteed to have me as your DJ, and it won't cost you extra. You'll also get to meet with me before your event! In fact we'll talk at least three times in person or over video chat (see 1 and 2 at the top of this page), and you'll have access to unlimited communication with me, which will give you confidence and peace of mind that everything about your event is going to be well planned and awesome. Added confidence comes from knowing I'll be bringing my own personal gear which is of the highest quality and well cared for.

No, your wedding or event is far too important to me to rely on the Internet or a streaming service. I maintain a huge legally purchased music library. To prevent playback problems during your event, I will not rely on cellular or wifi networks to play songs outside my library including Spotify, YouTube or any other streaming internet music source.

I want to know which songs you'd like played for all of your unique elements and special moments such as your grand entrance, your first dance, etc.

I'd also love for you to tell me the top 15 songs that you want to hear most at your event. You can include do-not-play songs/genres as well. If you have Spotify lists or a guest request list, I'd love to see that too. I'll use all of it as a base for inspiration.

You'll decide whether or not you would like your guests to be able to request songs.

If I don’t have your song I will buy it. It just has to be available from one of the major online music stores or directly from the artist’s website. I own all of my music and never rely on streaming services for any events I do.

Editing songs is an art and, humbly, I am very good at it. I'd be happy to edit any of your special songs; for example I can take out the verse that doesn't quite fit in your father/daughter dance, or make your first dance song shorter, or even do a mash-up. I never charge extra for editing. It's fun and I consider that part of my job!

During open dance, I edit and mix songs live to keep your dance party hopping all night long.

Yes, all of my music is edited for content. If you are looking for a DJ who will play explicit music, I'm probably not your guy.

Reserving your date as early as possible is always a good idea! You don’t want to have found the perfect DJ only to learn he is booked up on your big day! Shoot me a message above to find out if I still have your date open!

If I'm available on your new date, all the money you paid goes towards the new date. If I'm not available on your new date, or if you need to cancel the event, you would forfeit your retainer. Full details can be found on our written agreement, but I will do my best to work with you!

The retainer to reserve your date is $200. All of that goes toward your package price. Your final payment is due in full 14 calendar days prior to your event. You can pay at any time between your booking and the due date. I will send you an invoice by email a few weeks before your event if you still have a balance.

I will travel to any venue/location within a 60 mile radius of St. George, UT for no extra charge. If your event is further away than that, I would still love to be a part of it! Events further than 60 miles away require the use of the "travel time" add-on. I also ask that you provide overnight accommodations for the night of your event if your event is 90 miles or more away, to ensure safe travel the following day.
